Principal and creative director.
How did you get your start in your career?
I got an internship at a small design agency during my junior at Memphis College of Art.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Nowadays, a lot of meetings, and squeezing in design time between them.
What keeps you motivated?
Building value and being a resource for companies and organizations motivate me as well as bringing value and opportunity to fellow creatives, especially those overlooked.
What's something that you want to do but haven't had the chance?
Open a bar. Although, I may or may not be working on this currently ;)
What's one thing you can't live without?
Good people. I feed off the energy of others. COVID has made that tricky on a larger scale but being around a group of good people always revitalizes me.

What inspires you?
My family, reaching goals, and seeing others succeed.

My wife and I like to recap our days to each other; this is most fun when we feel like we got a lot done.
What's your favorite thing about Memphis?
Black excellence. Black Memphians have been tastemakers for many years. From music to food to dance, art, and culture. I don't think this country realizes how much of what they consume was and still is influenced by Black Memphians.
What was your go-to quarantine pastime?
Building an addition to my house. It's surprisingly stress-relieving.
What is a new skill or hobby you have recently picked up?
I wouldn't call it a hobby but public speaking. It's always been tough for me, but I was offered to speak at a conference, and I said yes for the first time. It was definitely a learning experience. I am trying to be more open to speaking engagements.
